Imlil, Atlas Mountains

On a visit to the Atlas Mountains in April 2000 I took this photo of a boulder in the village of Imlil.

Imlil lies next to the Mezane River which suffers from periodic flash floods. The boulder in the photo was deposited in Imlil in a late 19th Century flood. The most recent serious flood made news in 1995 and the following web page has some useful information http://diziet.scenario.co.uk/tictoc/Phase3/Resource/water.html
