Morning Wash in the “not quite en-suite” bathroom

Wherever you find yourself in India, there is always a new sight to behold. As we travelled along a country road we noticed this family about to take their morning wash. They had come armed with large containers of water collected from the nearby well. The mother in the picture is washing clothes on the stone slab. We asked in sign language if we could take this photo, so we did not invade their privacy. They were quite flattered, but bemused by our interest.
