Getting started

You need to complete our registration form before you can enter Ask a Geographer. You will then be issued with a username and password via email.

If this is your first visit, take some time to get to know the site.

• Explore "Meet the experts", to find out about the geographers who will be answering your questions.
• In the student's area - you can see sample questions and think about how best to ask questions
• The 'Geodebates' are thought provoking perspectives on geographical topics. This might stimulate questioning.

Before you start thinking about your questions, you will also need to take a look at the list of what has been asked before.
