My broad area of expertise is in environmental geography
More specifically I am interested in the use and management of energy resources
(particularly renewable energy and energy efficiency), and the geography of pollution
problems and technological hazards. My recent research work has included a study of how
people living near to chemical plants feel about the risks of accidents happening and a
review of the growth of renewable energy projects in the UK.
