"Ask a Geographer" is a pilot service available to students studying geography in Staffordshire LEA schools. It enables pupils to put forward questions to the geography lecturers at Staffordshire University.

The aim of the pilot service is to:

• explore ways of using new ICT to inform learning in geography
• examine students' attitudes to learning in this way
• consider teaching and learning styles appropriate for using communication technologies
