BEFORE THE VISIT
Our trip takes place in term time towards the end of March. We meet our lower
sixth students in the previous September. The fieldwork timetable works as
follows:
SEPTEMBER
- The trip is provisionally arranged with the travel agent - Joanne Bailey
at Wardle travel, always arranges a keen price!
- Fund raising activities begin.
- Individual study guide distributed to students (see below)
OCTOBER
- Parents information evening held in school and deposits collected.
- Students research Malta for possible areas of interest.
- Titles chosen, B1 forms completed and posted to the R.A.M.
- Second deposits collected.
NOVEMBER
- Students write the introduction to the project.
- Fund raising activities well under way
- Third deposits collected.
DECEMBER
- Students write the introduction to the data collection section and design
the questionaires and appropriate sampling sheets.
JANUARY
- Final installment collected.
FEBRUARY
- Second parent’s evening to discuss travel arrangements, itinerary and
code of behaviour and issue Malta guide(see below)
