Wind Power

Sheila Morrison from Fortismere School, London has offered this DME. Year 8 wind farm resources were developed as a decision making exercise to be levelled as an end of unit assessment for the renewable energy topic. Pupils used resources in groups in lessons then wrote a newspaper article for homework as the assessed work. Pupils found it quite hard to start with as they hadn't done a decision making exercise before but found the supported worksheet useful to structure their work. This is good practice for the GCSE DME.
