Lesson 3

Hypothetical World Cup based on Data Collected

Today we are going to find out who wins your World Cup. In your pairs you will recreate each match using the data you have collected in the last class to decide who wins. Each country will compete against each other based on Population size, Area and Highest point. In a match the highest will score a goal in each of the three categories – population, area and highest point.

For example – Germany v Costa Rica

Population - 82,422,299 v 4,075,261

Area - 357,021 v 51,100

Highest Point - 2,963 v 3,810

Germany wins 2 : 1.
