2.1 Where are these Bananas growing
- the country is Europe's biggest banana grower! |

2.2 At 64 degrees North in Iceland,
just 2 degrees below the Arctic Circle. |

2.3 The ground is hot near the
surface heating the groundwater above boiling point in some places. |
|
 |
2.4 Put up a glass house and heat
it with hot geothermal water. |
|
 |
2.5 And you can grow vegetables and flowers in a tundra environment.

2.6 Iceland has long light days in
summer but lamps are needed in winter but cheap electricity from
geothermal power stations provides it. |

2.7 These flowers will be sold at a
florist in Reykjavik and other Icelandic towns. |

2.8 Hveragerdi is the town that has
developed horticulture with geothermal activity. |
