to show them to surprise pupils and make the point that the USA is a
big country and this is only a very small part of it. |

1.3 Columbia Heights, DC a multicultural community
with deprivation and crime. The graffiti is part of action to improve the
quality of life in the Inner City. |

Canals of Birmingham? No this is the Cleveland and
Ohio Canal, Georgetown, Washington DC. Industrialisation in the USA was
not long after Britain. |

DC Metro and new home of the Discovery Channel. In the foreground new
downtowns are being rediscovered. |

of Representatives. Many would argue, decisions taken here impact the
world over. |
