School links with Brazil

The North South Linking Team at the Central Bureau aims to help schools and colleges set up partnerships with schools in Latin America, Africa, the Caribbean and South Asia. Such links develop global perspectives in the curriculum and provide a direct and relevant way of finding out about the lives of other young people.

The Central Bureau can provide assistance with finding a partner school in Brazil through their school links officer, Vanessa Andreotti at the British Council in Brazil. Schools in the UK and Brazil can access guidance through handbooks and training workshops. Once links have been established, help with grants for reciprocal teacher visits and and curriculum development projects can be given.

If you would like to find out more about school linking in Brazil please contact Josephine Gould at North South School Linking or Vanessa Andreotti at the British Council, or visit the web site. If you would like to start a link with a Brazilian school visit the Windows on the World website and mark "Brazil" as your country of choice and Vanessa will look for a suitable Brazilian partner school.
