Your task: You are going to present to your colleagues in the group, the arguments for and against the theory of plate tectonics.
In this geographical enquiry you are going to harness the Internet to research and evaluate the theory of plate tectonics.
  • Your project must include answers to the following enquiry questions:
  • How does the theory of plate tectonics explain volcanic and seismic activity?
  • How would you describe the pattern of evidence of crustal movement?
  • How does the theory explain the processes active at plate margins and the landforms that result?
  • What are the exceptions to the rule and theory of plate tectonics?

How might they be explained?

Present your project in a professional manner and edit your material from various internet sites using Microsoft Word or Microsoft PowerPoint.
