• How are they different from each other? 
• Are they different from where you live?

We see many different places on television. Although they are not real places as most are filmed in TV studios, they have several features which reflect life in villages, towns and cities where we live. Some of the outside scenes are filmed in real places.

You need to consider how life-like the village portrayed in Emmerdale is compared to life in a village you know well. Would living in a town be like Coronation Street or Albert Square?
