Teacher Notes This enquiry has been written by Emma Shannon from Walton Priory Middle School. It is designed for Year 6 pupils studying a Contrasting UK Locality, although could be adapted for use by older pupils. Walton Priory pupils study Castleton in great depth and a fieldwork visit is a significant part of the unit. This enquiry could be used by pupils prior to a fieldwork visit, in order for them to develop an insight into the area. Alternatively it could be used by pupils who are not able to undertake fieldwork. Only a few websites are included in the enquiry so that pupils are not faced with too much information.
