What does the GCSE Exam consist of?

The Geography GCSE exam consists of three elements

  • Paper 1 - The Physical Paper (40%)

  • Paper 2 - The Human Paper (35%)

  • Coursework (25%)

Paper 1 - This consists of the following:

  • Mapwork and Skills - 25 marks

  • Plate Tectonics - 15 mark questions

  • Rivers - 15 mark questions

  • Ecosystems - 15 mark questions

Paper 2 - This consists of the following:

  • Population

  • Agriculture

  • Development

You can print them off or study them online

However you will need to collect maps from the Geography Dept to answer some of the questions
