SLN geographers go wild
in the Dales!
What a fabulous success the weekend was (despite the warnings from
concerned offspring about the dangers of meeting people from the
Internet!!)
The location was perfect (perhaps not exactly midway between
Aberdeen and Maidstone, but not far off!)
The weather was "changeable" as the best forecasters say!
The resource swap shop was excellent - at least a baker's dozen of
lessons for after half term (and a Beano and lots of pens)!
The company was fantastic; we all got on so well.
It is possibly one of the best professional opportunities for 2005 (with
apologies to anyone running CPD!)
I hope to be featuring more photos from members of the group in the
near future! Please also see Geography Pages
for Alan Parkinson's illustrated diary of the weekend.

With thanks to Val who had the original idea,
booked the venue and generated the enthusiasm!
