above map so that your group has chosen a spread of places throughout the
continent.
- Work through the

- See if you can find out
about the climates of other places that have not been included on the

but be very careful about the units used in these tables of figures!]
- Write a paragraph which
compares the climates that you have researched. You can work as a
group here.

- compare precipitation totals
- compare distribution of precipitation [when the
rainfall occurs in the year.]
- On an outline map of Europe [click
here], divide
the continent up into the following climate types:
Polar Temperate
continental Temperate rainy [British type]
Mediterranean
Mountain

- Describe the locations of
each climate within Europe and summarise how
temperature and precipitation change throughout the continent.
