Example description for Salonika in Greece:
The winter temperatures in Salonika on average are about 5°C which is on the cool side especially for a place this far South, the figures however go up to 26°C in the Summer - this is very hot as the daytime temperatures will go a good deal higher. With an average of 15.7°C throughout the year, Salonika has a warm Climate overall. The total precip[itation is 470mm which is rather dry; most of this rainfall falls during the winter especially during October - December where over 50mm can be expected throughout each month. Summers are drier with August being especially dry with only 14mm expected. This part of Europe has a Mediterranean Climate which can be summed up as "warm with dry Summers". Salonika's winters are surprisingly cold however!
