G Where would you like to live in Europe on the basis of climate only?
This is an important piece of work which will take you several lessons
including homework to complete. The mark you receive will be out of 10.
- What kind of climate do you like best? Write a series of paragraphs which
describe the weather you would like best in summer and winter. Remember to
include details of:
- temperature
- precipitation (rainfall, snowfall, fog and mist, frost etc.)
- wind
- cloud

- Choose at least five places in Europe for which you can get climatic data.
Write these places down and briefly describe their position within Europe.
Mark their location on an outline map of Europe.

- For each place that you have chosen, write a paragraph describing its
climate. You will need to use the climatic figures in the tables to do this.
