
Tittesworth reservoir is situated to the west of Leek. It is manmade with the dam situated on the south end.
The main water feeding into the reservoir is the River
Churnet which flows out again from the dam.
The reservoir is used to provide a water supply for people in the Stoke-on-Trent area.
It is owned and managed by the Severn Trent Water Authority.
There is a visitors site with an adventure playground, café, barbecue area, visitors centre and footpaths all the way round the reservoir.
Bank and boat fishing are allowed and there is a conservation area with two bird hides.
